About
Workplace Induction – Program Overview This Workplace Induction provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to working safely and professionally within the organisation. The induction is designed to ensure all workers understand their responsibilities before commencing work. The program covers key topics including the organisation’s Integrated Management System (IMS), workplace values and expected behaviours, health and safety responsibilities, environmental responsibility, fitness for work, incident and hazard reporting, emergency response procedures, and working safely around common site hazards such as plant, vehicles, trenches, services, and changing weather conditions. Participants will also be introduced to requirements relating to attendance, mobile device use, personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and site rules. The induction concludes with a mandatory assessment. A 100% pass result is required to successfully complete the program and be eligible to commence work, subject to site-specific inductions and supervisor direction.
